Elisabeth Cibot Sculpture Exhibition- La vie est belle
Elisabeth Cibot is a renowned sculptor, born in an artistic family in France. Her talent in art, particularly in figurative creations, has been demonstrated in her long list of exhibitions and permanent public installations including the 3 meter statue “Homage to Pope Jean-Paul II” in Lyon. She has gained many awards over the years. Recently she was awarded the Gold Medal for Sculpture, by Salon Nationale des Beaux-Arts, Carrousel du Louvre, Paris.
In her upcoming and the first exhibition in Hong Kong which we proposed as an associated program of Le French May, Elisabeth will show her famous series of figurative sculptures, namely “Moving Figures” and “The Plump Women” at Neuberg ArtSpace. Totally there will be more than ten pieces of sculptures in this solo exhibition.
“Moving Figures” illustrates the paths of the artist in searching of the purpose of life, and the road to self-realization. “The Plump Women” shows that beauty is not always an aesthetic issue as we usually see, but is rather a story of presence and emotions. Through these artworks she unleashes her unparalleled techniques in crafting vivid expressions and gestures, and more importantly, she injects her abundant passion and love there.
Elisabeth Cibot
Elisabeth Cibot
